As the Fab Labs manager, UNT alumna Christa Grogan (2019, B.A.A.S., Geospatial Science, and 2020, B.F.A., Studio Art: Sculpture) supports students in creative projects and supports faculty in student assistance and technical learning. She teaches safe use of a variety of machines from laser cutters and resin printers to the longarm-quilting machine and fabric printer.
Prior to joining the Fabrication Labs in a full-time role, Christa worked in the lab as a valuable team member and student worker where she explored and enjoyed many art techniques. Grogran lives in Little Elm where she cares for her mother and three house kitties. She is an avid gardener, loves horses and nature, enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.
