Julia Cartwright holds a B.F.A. (2109) in commercial photography from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Commerce, Texas.

 

About

Cartwright is the CVAD Studio Arts Photography Lab Technician where she supervises student workers, equipment checkout, the darkroom, the alternative process classroom, and the lighting studio.
 
She is a photographic artist and freelance photographer who explores time, empathy, community, and low socioeconomic disparity. Cartwright’s work has been exhibited in galleries, magazines, and online, both locally and nationally. She is also an active member of the Society for Photographic Education.
