About the Interior Design Program
The Interior Design program in the College of Visual Arts and Design has continuously been accredited since 1977 by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, formerly FIDER. CIDA provides the foundation for excellence in the interior design profession by setting educational standards and accrediting academic programs that meet those standards.
The CVAD Interior Design curriculum prepares the student for challenges as a design professional by balancing creative and technical expertise. The Dallas-Fort Worth region provides an excellent network of design practitioners and resources for mentors and internships.
