Support the UNT CVAD Galleries
Since 1972, the UNT Galleries have presented and interpreted major art movements from Constructivism to Post Modernism, bringing to North Texas works by such visual art masters.
Visiting artists include the following.
Jenny Holzer
Emmy Bright
Masami Teraoka
Marina Abramovic
Kongo Astronauts
Edgar Heap of Birds
Matthew Ritchie
For more than 60 years, the College of Visual Arts and Design has presented the works of its student artists, notably in the annual Voertman Student Art Competition, supported by Voertman's book and supply store. Gifts to the CVAD Galleries allow us to pursue excellence, ensuring that we can engage with Texas, national, and international artists and that we can reach out to communities surrounding UNT through public programs, such as lectures, family days, and visiting artist projects. Your gift may be directed to the CVAD Galleries to support CVAD's exhibition program.
Give Now
You may contribute to CVAD and the program of your choice online at Give to UNT, visit our UNitTed and Supporting Those in Need web page, or contact Felicia Lewis, senior director for development and fundraising at Felicia.Lewis@unt.edu.
Student Employment
CVAD and other UNT students work part-time as gallery sitters and art handlers. Gallery sitters monitor a gallery, greet visitors, keep a visitor count, observe the safety of artworks, answer phones and communicate with gallery staff. Gallery technicians or art handlers assist in installing and de-installing artworks for exhibitions, prepare the gallery walls before and after exhibitions and maintain the gallery storage areas.
