Bonnie Daneker is a publisher, book coach, and working author with a longstanding commitment to the arts. A recent Texas resident, she relocated to Plano in January 2024. She quickly became involved in the local arts community through the Dallas Business Council for the Arts’ Leadership Arts Institute program. The experience deepened her understanding of the region’s cultural landscape and the challenges facing arts organizations.
Daneker’s background spans teaching, advocacy, promotion and business consulting. She has taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, and guest-lectured at Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business, where she also contributed to program development. Daneker graduated from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences, Columbus, Ohio, with a B.A. in journalism and from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, with an M.B.A. She served as chair of the scholarship and diversity committees and vice president of the university’s Alumni Society Board.
Now serving on the Board of Directors for the Plano Symphony Orchestra, Daneker is eager to further contribute to the North Texas arts ecosystem through strategic engagement and advisory roles.
