About

Marcy Bishop-Lilley started her role as a career coach for the College of Visual Arts and Design in the Fall of 2019. Lilley holds a bachelor’s degree in art education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, N.C., and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting and Drawing from UNT. Lilley is a mentor, practicing artist, and educator and has served in many roles within CVAD core drawing and design and as an assistant to the drawing program. Lilley has held positions as a studio assistant to faculty and a woodshop assistant; she currently instructs art appreciation courses in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lilley has been featured in Canvas Rebel Magazine for her perspective on the unique aspects of career advising for art and design students.
