About

Ursula Williams manages the CVAD Student Computer Lab and the IT Services Help Desk.

Before becoming an IT Specialist, Williams worked for 12 years as an electronic resources assistant at Texas Woman’s University. During her tenure, she played a key role in establishing the TWU Library’s social media team, which promoted the library’s strategic plan and mission through various social media platforms.

At CVAD, Ursula has been instrumental in developing social media strategies and has presented her work at several statewide conferences. Her research has also led to a co-authored article in the Texas Library Journal.

Williams earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001. In her free time, she enjoys networking, photography, music, and spending time outdoors.
