Prior to becoming an IT Specialist, Williams served as the electronic resources assistant with Texas Woman’s University for 12 years. She assisted in creating the TWU Library’s Social Media Team, which was responsible for representing the library’s strategic plan and mission through its utilization of social media tools.

Ursula has contributed to the development of social media strategies and plans and has presented at several statewide conferences. As a result of her research, she co-authored an article featured in the Texas Library Journal.

Ursula received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas. In addition to serving as the web and social media strategist for CVAD, she also enjoys networking, photography, music and spending time outdoors.
