Hans Peter "Hepi" Wachter, ASID, AIA, IDEC, is a widely-published practitioner/scholar of interior design with a research focus on community health and design, environmental gerontology and trans-disciplinary collaboration. Having earned his M.F.A. from the State Academy of Arts, Düsseldorf, Germany, Wachter spent a decade running successful design firms after graduation. Wachter comes to CVAD from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Okla., where, in addition to his faculty position in interior design, he held affiliated courtesy appointments in the College of Liberal Studies and the Oklahoma University Health Science Center. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
