About

Tesa Morin is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans digital art, photography, painting, and textiles. Her current series, titled Borders/Boundaries, delves into the exploration of physical and psychological boundaries, including the U.S.-Mexico border. Personal history deeply informs Morin's identity as both a Texan and an artist. Born in Spain to American parents, she and her brother were taken by their mother to the United States to escape the political unrest of the post-Franco era, leaving their father behind.

Morin received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a photography emphasis and a painting minor emphasis from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. She then earned a Master of Fine Arts with a major in photography and a minor in digital art from the University of North Texas. She is a member of Nuestra Artist Collective, the 2023-24 recipients of the Talley Dunn Gallery Equity in the Arts Fellowship.
