Natalie Ellis, Ph.D., IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, has commercial and residential interior design practice experience, is a trained instructive scholar, and has an integrative and extensive research background in environment and human behavior. In effect, her research process relies upon considering the importance of harmonizing theoretical knowledge with considering every challenge’s unique circumstances.
Central to all creative endeavors is her profound passion for creating healthy and sustainable buildings for people in both practical and theoretical applications. As a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-accredited professional since 2009, Ellis has worked on numerous LEED projects and will bring this valuable knowledge into the classroom. She expands upon the connective research between practice and academic pursuits and evolves the existing educational research knowledge base.
