Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, Zoë Couvillion earned a B.F.A. in 2019 at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, Louisiana, and an M.F.A. in 2022 at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, in printmaking. Couvillion's recent work is centered on methods including stone lithography, reductive relief printing, papier-collé, and blind emboss. Couvillion's research involves individuality and connectivity in grief and celebration. Recently, she worked as a visiting instructor at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, and is excited to be back in the South.
