Kay Seedig has served in many roles in the areas of core drawing and printmaking, including teaching as a teaching assistant and teaching fellow, and working in the area of core drawing and printing assistant at P.R.I.N.T., a non-profit educational research institute within CVAD.
Seedig, who is from North Carolina, received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and an M.F.A. in Studio Art: Printmaking in 2017 from the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas. Seedig also served as a workshop assistant at Frogman's Print Workshop for two years.
With an active exhibition record, Seedig's work has been exhibited in 500x Gallery in Dallas; Ann Arbor Art Center in Ann Arbor, Mich.; Parks Exhibition Center in Idyllwild, Calif.; Weber Fine Arts Building at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Neb., and Whitman College, Walla Walla, Wash.
Seedig is currently teaching as an adjunct assistant instructor at the UNT College of Visual Arts and Design and at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas.
