About

As a native Texan, Michael Faircloth has always understood and appreciated the mystique surrounding Texas women and their fashion enthusiasm.

While earning his degree in fashion design at the University of North Texas, Michael jokes that he earned his second degree while working simultaneously at Neiman Marcus. He affirms that both educations weigh equally in his success, along with his dedication to always designing clothing to flatter the feminine form and instill confidence and beauty in the wearer.

Immediately upon graduating from UNT, Michael established his first couture salon in Dallas 40 years ago…with a singular client. His devotees now number in the thousands, all of whom appreciate the beauty of a refined aesthetic. His international clientele heralds his couturier’s sense of cut and discriminating eye for graceful detail.

Laura Bush catapulted Michael’s name and talents into the forefront of the fashion arena when she selected him to design her wardrobe as First Lady for President Bush’s 2001 Inauguration. Michael has enjoyed a long and convivial relationship with the Bush family, having designed for several of the family members during their decades-long association.

Michael continues to travel the world for inspiration and the procurement of the finest fabrics and hand embellishments available. He maintains his studio in Dallas, Texas, and, along with his dedicated staff of 33 years, creates bespoke garments for his distinguished clients.
